Microbial preparations and growth regulators as a means of biologization in agriculture

Abstract

The article shows influence of seed treatments with microbial agents and plant growth regulators on growing conditions, yield, content and grain quality of winter wheat, as well as the impact of biopreparations on crop residues’ degradation. It is found that the use of biological products for treating seeds and crops in comparison with control conditions improves the growth and development of winter wheat plants, reduces the incidence of diseases (leaf rust and septoria), increases yield and affect the accumulation of a gluten in grain. Most high profitability provided seed treatment and processing of the autumn crop of winter wheat plant with growth regulator Vitazim, which in addition to the direct impact on the growth and development of plants, stimulated the activity of native microorganisms of chernozem soil.
