Abstract

Статья посвящена роли руководителя следственного органа в досудебном производстве в рамках последних изменений УПК РФ. Ставится вопрос о несоответствии некоторых нормативно-правовых актов, устанавливающих полномочия руководителя следственного органа, с принципом процессуальной самостоятельности следователя. Сформулированы положения и предложены законодательные инициативы, обеспечивающие создание механизма повышения процессуальной самостоятельности следователя.
