Повышает Ли Международная Диверсификация Бизнеса Операционную Эффективность? Опыт Российских Компаний

Abstract

Стратегии международной диверсификации бизнеса являются широко используемыми стратегиями роста. Однако большинство академических исследований констатируют, что данные стратегии приводят к разрушению стоимости. В то время как большинство таких исследований посвящено анализу компаний с развитых рынков капитала, опыт компаний с развивающихся рынков изучен в меньшей степени. Настоящая работа предлагает модель оценки зависимости операционной эффективности бизнеса от степенью его международной диверсификации. Предлагаемая модель была оценена на выборке крупных российских компаний. Результаты свидетельствуют о наличии нелинейной зависимости U-вида между доходностью на инвестированный капитал компании и степенью международной диверсификации. В среднем для большинства компаний выборки международная диверсификация вела к снижению в операционной эффективности.
