Abstract

Интерес российских банков к выходу на рынки стран Центральной и Восточной Европы, который продемонстрировала недавняя покупка Сбербанком России восточноевропейского подразделения австрийского банка Volksbank AG, делает актуальным изучение банковских систем данных стран. Данная статья посвящена банковскому рынку Австрии. Показано место банковской системы на финансовом рынке Австрии, рассмотрена ее структура с характеристикой основных секторов системы и ключевых банковских групп и банков, выделены внешние и внутренние факторы, особенности и тенденции развития данной сферы. Особое внимание уделено вопросам устойчивости банковской системы Австрии и влиянию мирового финансового кризиса на финансовое состояние австрийских банков.
