Abstract

Миграция – давно известное и значительное явление в истории человечества. Географические перемещения населения всегда сопровождали демографический рост, технологические изменения, политические конфликты и войны. Вместе с тем, прошедший XX век стал буквально веком миграции: никогда еще это явление не было таким значимым с точки зрения общества, экономики, политики. И хотя частично миграция может быть вынужденной (например, в форме депортации), для экономистов представляет интерес прежде всего добровольный переезд людей из одной страны в другую, так как именно это явление приобрело массовый характер в современной экономике.
