Evolution of Economic Integration within the Cooperation Council for the Arab Statesof the Gulf

Abstract

В статье проведен анализ истории и современного этапа интеграционных тенденций водной из старейших интеграционных группировок мира Совета сотрудничества арабских государств Персидского залива (ССАГПЗ). Созданный в 1981 г. он прошел путь от зоны свободной торговли к неполноформатному таможенному союзу с 2003 г. с элементами общего рынка в отношении перемещения лиц. К 2015 г. планируется окончательно сформировать таможенный союз и общий рынок. В 2009 г. четыре страны Бахрейн, Катар, Кувейт и Саудовская Аравия подписали Соглашение о валютном союзе с общей валютой, который планировалось образовать к 2010 г. Но понадобится не менее 5 лет, чтобы это произошло. Страны должны завершить формирование таможенного союза и общего рынка.
