Abstract

В московской экономической газете Жизнь и кредит от 27 апреля 2005 года появилась любопытная статья о внешних офшорах, которые имеются в настоящее время в различных странах мира. Статья эта некоторым покажется спорной. Однако она содержит весьма оригинальный материал, основывающийся на экономических расчетах, которые впервые встречаются в печати. Расчеты, о которых сообщает британский журнал The Оbserver, дают возможность сопоставлять ущерб от функционирования офшорных зон с расходами на борьбу с мировым терроризмом. Кроме того, в статье высказывается и интересное мнение о воздействии офшорных зон на экономику России. Итак, ниже следует изложение статьи, в которую внесены некоторые сокращения.
