Abstract

В статье обосновывается миссия высшего профессионального образования в контексте опережающего развития качества человека и обеспечения качества его жизни. Раскрываются сущностные характеристики высшего профессионального образования, требования к качеству человека в российском образовательном пространстве. Особый акцент сделан на рассмотрении социальных функций: социально-экономических, социально-политических, культуротворческих, научно-исследовательских и квалитологической.
