Abstract

В статье исследуется современное состояние банковской системы одной из развивающихся стран Кот-д’Ивуара. Особое внимание уделено анализу структуры банковского сектора с точки зрения присутствия в нем национального, регионального и транснационального капитала. Авторами обосновывается вывод о том, что в современных условиях функционирования ивуарийской экономики банковский сектор страны не способен обеспечить потребности хозяйствующих субъектов в заемных средствах, а следовательно, активизация иностранного банковского капитала в стране отвечает национальным интересам. Вместе с тем последнее обстоятельство резко обостряет конкуренцию на рынке финансовых услуг, что ставит под удар само существование национальной банковской системы.
