Abstract

В статье рассматриваются особенности и тенденции социально-экономического развития регионов Севера. С помощью статистических характеристик определяется степень экономической и социальной дивергенции и конвергенции территорий. На основе метода главных компонент факторного анализа и иерархического кластерного анализа Ворда выделены четыре группы регионов по уровню социально-экономического развития высокоразвитый, развитый, слаборазвитый и проблемный. Дана содержательная характеристика этих кластеров, которая позволяет осуществлять дифференцированное регулирование развития северных регионов.
