Abstract

В статье на основе ранее неизвестных архивных документов Государственного Архива в Республике Крым рассматривается совершенно не изученный крымский период в биографии государственного служащего Наркомфина СССР, первого председателя Госстраха СССР Д.И. Ефремова (1881-1925). Особое внимание уделяется его плодотворной работе в Госстрахе, пропаганде страхового дела и реализации принципа государственной монополии страхования в СССР и особенно в Украине. Под его руководством Госстрах расширил виды сельского страхования, была заложена основа советского страхования.
