Abstract

Предметом исследования является деятельность Аткарского уездного земства Саратовской губернии по организации и обеспечению деятельности школ для крестьянских детей на территории уезда, укреплению их материальной базы, подбору педагогических кадров и повышению их квалификации, обеспечению школ учебниками, книгами для чтения учащихся, литературой для учителей, наглядными пособиями. В статье проведен анализ различных аспектов этой деятельности и ее результатов.
