Abstract

Цель настоящей статьи рассмотреть деятельность системы учреждений культуры в сельской местности. Объектом исследования явились сельские учреждения культуры и их просветительская деятельность. Предметом исследования стала управленческая деятельность государственной власти и органов местного управления в процессе создания сети культпросветучреждений в Астраханской, Волгоградской, Куйбышевской и Саратовской областях. В работе использованы проблемно-хронологический и системный методы изучения материалов. Сделан вывод о том, что к середине 1980-х гг. КПСС ослабила свою деятельность в сфере организации культурной жизни села. Материалы настоящей статьи могут быть использованы студентами-историками на семинарских занятиях по спецкурсу, при написании учебных пособий по истории советского периода.
