Abstract

Статья посвящена развитию торговли в мордовских селениях Ардатовского, Алатырского, Карсунского уездов Симбирской губернии в конце X VIII первой половине XIX вв. На основе архивного материала автором рассматриваются рост количества ярмарок и базаров в уездах, основными участниками которых были крестьяне, их товарооборота; рост хлебной торговли на сурских пристанях, немаловажную роль в которой играли удельные крестьяне, подведомственные Алатырской удельно й конторе; вовлечение самих удельных крестьян в хлеботорговые операции, характерным показателем которого является деятельность Алатырской хлеботорговой компании в 1847 1852 г г.
