Abstract

В статье проанализированы состояние, динамика и перспективы социально-демографического развития Сибирского региона России. Обозначены более высокие, чем в целом по стране, темпы сокращения населения региона в конце ХХ начале ХХ1 вв. Показана недостаточность демографического потенциала Сибири для создания развитой экономической структуры и обеспечения демографической безопасности. Отмечается неэффективность и ущербность федеральной социальноэкономической и демографической политики, проводимой в Сибири. Рассмотрены варианты выхода из демографического кризиса. Обоснована программа действий, предусматривающая создание особых условий для инвестиций в Сибири, ведения сбалансированной миграционной политики и развития взаимовыгодного сотрудничества с соседними государствами.
