Abstract

Аргументы, призванные доказать возникшую с появлением Интернета тенденцию к повсеместному распространению ценовой конкуренции, не безосновательны. Данный взгляд базируется на предположении, что переход к электронной коммерции приводит рынок к состоянию совершенной конкуренции. С другой стороны, есть основания полагать, что для рынков электронной коммерции сохраняют свою актуальность существующие теории конкурентных преимуществ. Однако данные точки зрения пока не нашли однозначного эмпирического подтверждения. А ведь прямым следствием из разрешения данного противоречия может стать возможность идентифицировать группы факторов, определяющих разницу в результатах фирм, ведущих деятельность в Интернете, что, по сути, является ключевым вопросом практически всех исследований в области стратегии.
