Abstract

Приводятся результаты исследования создания и деятельности общественных организаций (обществ) дореволюционного Дальнего Востока, действующих в охотничье-промысловой сфере. Особое внимание уделено вкладу общественных организаций в формирование охотничьего права: местных правил об охоте, закона, охраняющего зверя, практики борьбы с браконьерством в дальневосточной тайге. Хронологические рамки составляет период с 1887 года (с учреждения Владивостокского общества любителей охоты), охватывая период наиболее активной деятельности обществ охотников, до 1914 года (конечная дата обусловлена источниковым материалом, максимальная информативность которого в этом вопросе ограничена).
