Abstract

Статья посвящена особенностям экономического развития стран Африки к югу от Сахары за последние десять лет. Авторы убедительно доказывают, что представления минувших десятилетий об Африке как о континенте бесперспективной отсталости и тотальной бедности более не соответствуют действительности. Именно страны Субсахарской Африки в последние годы стали зоной, которая по темпам развития, роста роли и влияния в мировой экономике и политике стремительно начала приближаться к «восходящим» странам с развивающейся рыночной экономикой, в частности БРИКС. Африка развернулась в сторону активного привлечения иностранных инвесторов, которым создаются все более благоприятные условия. На этом фоне перед Россией, как глобальной державой, претендующей на роль экономического центра притяжения мировой значимости, стоит задача обозначить свое место и защитить свои интересы в Африке
