Abstract

This article deals with one of the most widespread ways of a company development and the important factor of success in competition called Mergers & Acquisitions. As the processes taking place in a world economy have an influence on the Russian economy including M&A-transactions of Russian companies, it seems to be very important to pay attention to the modern wave of national and cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions.
