Abstract

The article deals with the problem of demarcation of positive and normative approaches in modern Economics. The authors analyze the process of evolution of methodological approaches to this problem, specifically in works of J.N. Keynes, L. Walras, L. Robbins, M. Friedman. The dependence of this demarcation on different definitions of the subject matter of Economics is considered. The authors analyze also philosophical groundings of the problem and the development of attitude to the role of value judgments in Positivism, Neo Positivism, PostPositivism.
