Abstract

В статье рассматриваются международные правовые акты, регулирующие вопросы защиты прав и свобод ребенка в современном мире; процесс возникновения и развития института детских омбудсменов в разных странах мира, в том числе в Российской Федерации. Особое внимание автор уделяет правовому статусу уполномоченных по правам ребенка в регионах России, соотносит их с другими организациями и учреждениями защиты прав детства. Рассматриваются практические проблемы формирования системы детских омбудсменов в регионах России и предлагаются пути их решения.
