Abstract

Determinants of stress-testing as a tool of modeling unfavorable situations in insurers’ activity have been considered. Its major types, models, their disadvantages and advantages under present-day economic conditions have been analyzed. Possibilities of applying stress-tests in domestic insurers’ activity have been determined. Розглянуто основні детермінанти стрес-тестування як інструменту моделювання несприятливих ситуацій в діяльності страховиків. Проаналізовано його основні типи, моделі, їх недоліки та переваги всучасних економічних умовах. Визначено можливості застосування стрес-тестів в діяльності вітчизняних страховиків.
