The debatable questions related to the strategies of Ukrainian region development and complex programs are defined and analyzed The ways of solving economic problems of the country are presented. The themes of the pension reform, the changes of grant of subsidies to the population, administrative transformations are exposed. Nowadays, the introduction of development strategies is very urgent for Ukraine because it faces a lot of challenges. To get out of this precipice it is necessary to conduct reforms. The main of them are reforms concerning social policy of Ukraine. However, reformation of the social sphere requires considerable financial resources not only from the state budget but also from the country economy. Therefore, it is also important to reform the economic sector of Ukraine presently. The strategies of development which had been created before, became enormously popular in the current situation. Their realization is expected to help the Ukrainian economy in its transforming into more modernized type of the economy based on the optimal placing of economic entities and economical using of country’s natural resources. Окреслено та проаналізовано дискусійні питання, що пов’язані зі стратегіями розвитку регіонів України та комплексними програмами, зазначені шляхи вирішення економічних проблем країни. Розкрито теми пенсійної реформи, змін надання субсидій населенню, адміністративних перетворень. На сьогоднішній день впровадження стратегій розвитку є дуже актуальним для України, оскільки наша країна переживає тяжкі часи. Щоб вибратися з цієї прірви, обов’язково потрібно проводити реформи. Одними з головних є реформи соціальної політики України. Однак реформування соціальної сфери потребує значних фінансових ресурсів не тільки з державного бюджету, а й з самої економіки країни. Тому на даний момент не менш важливим є реформування економічного сектору України. Стратегії розвитку, що створювались і раніше, саме зараз набули величезної популярності. Їх реалізація має допомогти перетворити економіку України у більш модерну, що базується на інноваціях, активності підприємців, що ґрунтується на оптимальному розміщенні економічних суб’єктів та ощадливому використанні природних ресурсів країни.
