The article is devoted to the study of the origin and history of the interpretation of the genesis of «strategy», «financial strategy», its elements and composite types. Scientists studied different views on the concept of strategy. Several specific positions founders of different approaches to define the strategy of schools operating strategies involved in the formulation and implementation of the concept of «strategy». Evaluation of different schools of strategies that deepened understanding of the industry and its strategy in the early stages of formation. Розглядається вивчення історії походження та трактування генезису понять «стратегія», «фінансова стратегія», їх композиційних елементів і видів. Досліджено погляди різних вчених щодо розвитку поняття «стратегія». Розглянуто окремі позиції засновників різних підходів функціонуючих шкіл стратегій до визначення стратегії, які займалися функціонуванням і реалізацією даного поняття. Проведено оцінку різних шкіл стратегій, які поглибили розуміння стратегії галузі та її формування на початкових етапах. На основі вивчених праць різних вчених автором запропоновано власне трактування поняття «стратегія». Розглянуто загальні та функціональні стратегії галузі, до яких належать такі стратегії: інноваційна, ресурсна, фінансова, виробнича, маркетингова і кадрова. Виділено фінансову стратегію і її значний вплив на інші види стратегій. Автором розроблена фінансова стратегія галузі та фінансова стратегія конкурентного підприємства. Розкрито значення фінансової стратегії в умовах функціонування підприємств і галузі в цілому, а також складові формування фінансової стратегії підприємства. Висвітлено фактори, що потрібно враховувати під час побудови та реалізації фінансової стратегії. Проведено системний аналіз і визначено характер впливу стратегії на фінансовий результат, здійснено оцінку рівня їх привабливості та ризику. Розглянуто класифікацію фінансових стратегій за ознакою галузевої орієнтації та видів фінансової стратегії галузі залежно від розміру підприємств, що її утворюють, а також зазначено важливість цієї ознаки під час систематизації стратегій. Обґрунтовано доцільність видів фінансової стратегії. Визначено конкурентні переваги й ефективність діяльності підприємства і галузі на основі реалізації різних фінансових стратегій.
