Relevance of the topic is caused by updating of the economic systems and globalization. It is possible during the transition to the innovative way of country development. One of the directions of this way is venture investing. The article analyzes the features, principles and functions of venture capital investment.The rate of commercialization of new promising scientific ideas and technological developments depends on how successfully operates venture mechanism today, and therefore the competitiveness of various sectors of national economy.The practice of venture capital investment shows that the most important effects of its impact on the reproductive process is economic growth and dynamics entrepreneurial resource increase, development of the enterprise population as a fundamental base level of the national economy. Analysis of venture investment functions allowed to characterize the nature of venture capital and derive its basic group principles that resulted in the construction of venture capital investment methodology process considering all the risks. In the result of research there were suggested and proved governmental regulation measures of venture investment that include state support in the areas of tax, customs, depreciation, leasing and credit policy.As wellthere were developed methodological tools of regulation venture capital investment of innovation in the context of enterprises balance sheet items. Актуальність теми роботи обумовлена оновленням економічних систем держав, викликаним глобалізацією. Це можливо за умови переходу на інноваційний шлях розвитку країни. Одним з напрямків цього шляху є венчурне інвестування. Проведено аналіз особливостей, принципів і функцій венчурного інвестування. Від того,наскільки успішно функціонує венчурний механізм, сьогодні багато в чому залежить швидкість комерціалізації нових перспективних наукових ідей і технологічних розробок, а отже, і конкурентоспроможність різних галузей національної економіки. Практика венчурного інвестування показує, що найважливішим ефектом його впливу на відтворювальний процес є економічне зростання і підвищення динамічності підприємницького ресурсу, розвиток сукупності підприємств як фундаментальної базисної ланки національної економіки.Аналіз функцій венчурного інвестування дозволив характеризувати сутність венчурного капіталу і вивести основні його групи принципів, що в результаті призвело до побудови методології процесу венчурного інвестування з урахуванням усіх ризиків. У результаті дослідження запропоновані й обґрунтовані заходи державного регулювання венчурного інвестування, що включають державну підтримку в галузі податкової, митної,амортизаційної, лізингової та кредитної політики. Також розроблено методичний інструментарій регулювання венчурного інвестування інноваційної діяльності в розрізі статей бухгалтерського балансу підприємств.
