The article investigates the nature and components of the insurance management and its features inUkraine.The issues of insurance management are seen in the works of many researchers, however the role of insurance management in the risk-management in the current economic conditions is not enough investigated.The main kinds of innovation in the insurance and the most innovative insurance products in the world have been overviewed. According to the results of research of the improving of the interim administration in insurance companies ofUkraine, some measures to ensure the solvency of domestic insurers has been proposed. Стаття присвячена дослідженню сутності та складових страхового менеджменту, його особливостей в Україні. Питання страхового менеджменту розглядалося в працях багатьох дослідників, проте його роль в управлінні ризиками в сучасних економічних умовах є недостатньо дослідженою. Розглянуто основні види інновацій у страхуванні та найбільш інноваційні страхові продукти в світі. За результати вивчення питання введення тимчасової адміністрації в страхові компанії України запропоновано здійснити заходи щодо забезпечення платоспроможності вітчизняних страховиків.
