The logistic approach towards production organization as one of the factors of increasing metallurgical products competitiveness has been considered in the paper. During the studying and analysis of the existent logistic systems at the enterprises of metallurgical industry basic features which influence their efficiency have been selected. The features of centralized system of logistic processes organization have also been selected. The features of logistic processes of enterprises of metallurgical industry have been analysed and the substantial failings which influence the efficiency of their functioning and substantially affect the rise increase of unit cost have been selected. Розглянуто логістичний підхід до організації виробництва як один із чинників підвищення конкурентоспроможності продукції чорної металургії. Під час вивчення та аналізу існуючих логістичних систем підприємств металургійної галузі було виокремлено основні характеристики, які впливають на їх ефективність. Також досліджено особливості централізованої системи організації логістичних процесів. Проведено комплексний аналіз логістичних процесів підприємств металургійної галузі, на основі якого структуровано істотні недоліки, які стримують динаміку їх функціонування та істотно відображаються на збільшенні собівартості продукції.
