Abstract

The article considers the main theoretical aspects of reinsurance development, both in the global market, and the place ofUkrainein it. The historical grounds for the existence of modern reinsurance market and the main forms and types of contracts, that were formed as a result of such development, are determined. Розглянуто основні теоретичні аспекти розвитку перестрахування як на світовому ринку, так і місце України в ньому. Визначено історичні передумови існування сучасного ринку перестрахування, та які основні форми й типи договорів були сформовані в результаті такого розвитку.
