In the above article, the author examines the problem and proposes ways to improve methods of hedge commodity derivatives accounting. Relevance of the topic due to the fact that in modern conditions development of Ukraine, it is need to further improve accounting methods, particularly such unstudied part as hedge commodity derivatives accounting. Methodology is to study and synthesis methods accounting for commodity derivatives with national and international standards. The main result of the study have suggestions to improve methods of hedge commodity derivatives accounting. Автор розглядає проблеми та пропонує шляхи удосконалення методики бухгалтерського обліку операцій хеджування товарними деривативами. Актуальність даної теми зумовлена тим, що за сучасних умов економіко-правового розвитку України необхідне подальше вдосконалення методики бухгалтерського обліку, а особливо такої невисвітленої її частини, як облік операцій хеджування товарними деривативами. Методологією дослідження є вивчення й узагальнення методів обліку операцій з товарними деривативами за національними та міжнародними стандартами. Основним результатом дослідження є пропозиції щодо удосконалення методики бухгалтерського обліку операцій хеджування товарними деривативами.
