The review of the problems arising while applying the competence approach in training the specialist in accounting and auditing has been made. The directions of forming the professional competence in the process of teaching the discipline "Accounting for budgetary institutions" have been considered in details.The directions and the types of educational activities while forming the competence of the future specialist in accounting for budgetary institutions have been grounded. Проведено огляд проблематики застосування компетентнісного підходу при підготовці фахівця з обліку і аудиту, конкретизовано напрями формування професійної компетентності в процесі викладання дисципліни “Облік у бюджетних установах”, обґрунтовано напрями та види навчальної роботи при формуванні компетентності майбутнього фахівця з бухгалтерського обліку в бюджетній сфері.
