Abstract

Leadership is often confused with management, and not only that, it is also a concept which is not defined very easy. In order to simplify our approach, we defined seven components of transformational leadership in order o measure each component, and among them one of the most important, the emotional intelligence. The research is based of a result of 305 questionnaires applied to managers in organizations with more than 250 employees and faced with qualitative research based on interviews. Unexpected conclusions were founded.
