Analysis of Tourist Traffic Indexes in Romania compared to Some Countries in Europe

Abstract

In this paper the author presents the situation of tourist traffic, both nationally and internationally. The analysis is performed in order to formulate and implement a strategy for the development of rural tourism services, and thus, to ecotourism. The evolution of this area depends, mainly, of satisfying the demand for such services and improving their quality.
