Abstract

The paper asses and analyzes the Romanian insurances market by using specific indicators. Due to the specificity of its subject, the work involves a geographic representation pattern for an essentially economic system integrated in the social fabric. The descriptive-interpretative summary of the structural elements related to the insurance system (as one of the most important development factors of the tertiary sector) under a geographic approach, indicates the degree of implementation and integration of the insurance field in the Romanian social and temporal context.
