Abstract

Questo numero della Rivista di Politica Economica concentra la riflessione sul tema del potenziale attrattivo dei territori italiani. Il lavoro presentato da De Giovanni e Sica, mutuato dal Regional Competitive Index della Commissione Europea, viene calato nella profondità delle regioni e delle province italiane con le 262 regioni europee oggetto dell’osservazione dell’RCI. Mediamente l’Italia ha un posizionamento poco brillante. Lo studio trova il suo complemento nello sguardo al territorio del Nord Est, dove si sta plasmando un pezzo importante dell’advanced manufacturing italiano, all’incrocio ibrido tra alte qualifiche tecniche, scientifiche, ingegneristiche; capace di stare sui mercati internazionali; dove interagiscono Ict e manifattura.
