pARADOXUL DECLINULUI SISTEMELOR DE MANAGEMENT AL DESEURILOR PE CONTINENTUL AFRICAN

Abstract

Lucrarea isi propune sa identifice cauzele datorita carora sistemele de management a deseurilor urbane din majoritatea capitalelor continentului african inregistreaza un real declin comparativ cu managementul deseurilor din europa si din Intreaga lume. Paradoxul prezinta o dubla dimensiune. Pe de o parte exista decalajele enorme intre viziunile si politicile pe care autoritatile locale din Africa le dezvolta cu privire la gestionarea deseurilor urbane. Pe de alta parte paradoxul provine din antagonia perfecta dintre preocuparea pentru identificarea noilor solutii economice, tehnologice si sociale cu privire la imbunatatirea sistemelor de gestionare a deseurilor si insusi declinul cu care se confrunta In prezent aceste sisteme. In continutul articolului se prezinta si analizeaza particularitatile activitatilor specifice managementului deseurilor urbane, dar si modul In care diferiti actori se implica in administrarea problematicii complexe a deseurilor pe continentul african.
