Abstract

There is a connection between the inherited biomotor potential of the subjects of our research and their capacity of motor learning. It is known that certain skills provided by the somatic nature (height, span, body constitution) or the motor nature (motor perceptions and skills), constitute together the basis on which there is built the capacity for practicing a certain game. In this situation, it is very important to be aware of the natural or learned heritage in order to be able later to determine the objectives and the contents of the teaching process in regards to the education of the coordinative skills. In accordance with the training plan of the two groups (experimental group and control group), we made the biomotor measurements at two distinct stages within November 2011 - May 2012. Testing the biomotor potential in the first stage of the experiment allows us conclude that the students of the two groups have a physical development level and coordinative skills which are accessible for the objectives that are set in the students basketball training program.
