Physical Fitness Status among University Students from the Technical Profile

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine and to describe the physical fitness level of university students from the technical profile. The study was conducted on a sample of 403 students (n = 403) including 273 males and 130 females, aged between 18 and 20, from the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica of Bucharest. The level of physical fitness was assessed by the results of exercises that characterize the development of basic physical qualities such as agility, flexibility, speed and power.
