Abstract

The uncertainty related to the usage of computer networks and of the IC&T, forces the companies to adopt a global approach of information, technological and cyber risk management. This approach has to take into account both the accelerated evolution of the Information and Communication Technologies and the specificities of the legislative and social environment. The information systems and their IT components, as well as the information and communication technologies themselves represent a peculiar axis of the risk management, being in the same time, because their features, both a risk source and, a tool used for the risk management. The aim of this work is to fulfill an analysis concerning the main premises which supported the appearance of the risk in this field and their typology, and also to introduce a methodology for seting up the cyber risk management.
