This article analyzes the main factors driving the need for a hybrid business model by enterprises in the digital economy. The author of the article examines various interpretations of the concept of a business model, as well as new approaches to the production of value. Based on the analysis, the author of the article determined the specificity of the formation of income of an enterprise using a hybrid business model and analyzed the foreign experience of functioning of companies with a hybrid business model.
