Abstract

The article considers the importance of interaction between public authorities and society. It also analyzes the legal framework, regulating the activities of civil society organizations of the Russian Federation and their role as channels of public influence on the government. The role of socially oriented non-profit organizations of the Russian Federation, as well as the possibility of their public control is revealed. The role of the state in the development of the third sector is defined. The positive and negative aspects of the current legislation are considered. The need to adjust the basic laws in order to improve the efficiency of non-profit organizations that will be able to establish a dialogue between civil society and the existing public authorities is revealed.
