Abstract

The article deals with the history of the evolution of antitrust regulation policy and the transformation of the competition authority in post-Soviet Russia over the past thirty years of existence. Four enlarged stages of ar-chitectural changes, tasks and powers of the Antimonopoly authority are identified, and the main changes in legislation and powers of the FAS of Russia are described. The article presents statistical characteristics of the reviewed cases based on signs and facts of violation of the Antimonopoly legislation of the Russian Federation for the period 1996-2019. Brief explanations and reasons for the emerging dynamic changes are given. The article describes the problematic provisions and prospects for the transformation of the Antimonopoly policy and powers of the FAS of Russia in the post-tandem period.
