Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the current state of the Russian health care system, the main problems of its management efficiency and the search for ways to solve them at the Federal and regional levels. The authors analyze the current state and features of the Russian health care system, its organizational, legal and financial mechanisms of functioning. The article assesses the effectiveness of the activities undertaken by Federal authorities in reforming the medical sector, a significant focus of the study is on the achievements of previous activities of the state policy on modernization of system of public health of the Russian Federation and prospects of implementing the national project "Health".
