Abstract

The formation of the trajectories of development of the economy, ensuring sustainable growth and global competitiveness, involves the formation of adequate to modern conditions of competition management mechanisms in a spatial and sectoral dimension. Russia has significant natural resources development of fishery industry, and tradi-tions of the industry has significant growth potential at world level in production of fisheries and aquaculture. The article examines the current mechanisms of development of the complex, significant risks of the dominance of administrative regulation and industry development, as well as international experience (EU and China) as a basis for improving the management of the industry in Russia.
