Abstract

The need for strategic planning of the socio-economic development of municipalities is acutely recognized by local governments. However, the lack of experience in an integrated approach to defining goals and priorities for future development leads to the fact that the developed concepts and strategic plans are declarative in nature. The article discusses various aspects of the formation of plans for strategic development at the level of municipalities, identifies current tasks that need to be implemented.
