Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of increasing the competitiveness of the regional economy on the basis of the formation and development of tourist and recreational clusters. The author considers tourism and recreational clusters as a global phenomenon of the present time. The relevance of the cluster approach in the development of the tourism sector is shown. The basic principles of formation and functioning of tourist clusters are considered. The complex internal structure with a set of economic agents inherent in clusters is considered. On the basis of the regional analysis new technologies of management of the enterprises of competitive tourist and recreational clusters are revealed. Theoretical provisions are illustrated by examples from international practice.
