Abstract

Purpose. To describe a socio-cultural project to create a communication platform between graduates of creative universities and employers in the field of culture. For implementation of the project, a sociological study of students from creative universities was conducted. The issue of higher education relevance in a sphere of culture is important in connection with the transformation of both social spheres. Ekaterinburg cultural institutions urgently need highly qualified personnel, as the production of high-quality content of such organisations is directly related to the people who work there. Difficulties of employment are often due to the fact that the requirements of university graduates to the size of their wages are too high, while the level of qualifications acquired at the university and the accumulated professional experience do not meet the needs of employers. This contradiction became the basis of the project. To solve this problem, it is necessary to analyze the current situation in the labor market in the sphere of culture of a large city and to determine the points of contact between a potential employer and a graduate.
