Abstract

Purpose. The study of the features of innovative development of professional educational organizations from the standpoint of an institutional approach. Methods. The main approaches to the introduction of innovations for professional educational organizations are analyzed. The authors have used a comparison of classical approaches that are appliesd in the study of industrial enterprises. The features of innovative changes at the institutional level of secondary vocational education are revealed. Results. The authors have relied on a theoretical analysis of the fundamentals of the study of innovations, peculiarities of the introduction of innovations at industrial enterprises, scientifically based approaches and expert assessments. Practical experience in the system of secondary vocational education is also takes into account. The authors have showed the specifics of introducing innovations in professional educational organizations. The features are identified at the level of an individual organization and at an institutional level, and key indicators are detected extending the most significant impact on the innovative development of professional educational organizations. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty is to identify the most significant features of innovation in vocational education.
