Abstract

This article is devoted to the issues of implementation of the public family policy in Russia against the background of transformation and the institution of the family and family values in general, and to implementation methods of the public family policy in one of the territorial subjects of the Russian Federation - Stavropol Region. The analysis of experience of this subject seems expedient to the authors as the measures carried out in the region include not only overcoming negative consequences of deinstitutionalization of family, but also prevention of socially dangerous behavior, deviant behavior con-cerning family. Besides, the experiment of Stavropol Region is indicative concerning the attitude towards families having disabled children: there is patronage, mobile services and attracted subordinated public organizations. As a result, positive trends, which became possible only as a complex interaction between public authorities, the subordinated organizations and civil society
