Building Ireland’s Smart Economy (A Framework for Sustainable Economic Renewal)

Abstract

Ireland is currently faced with a number of adverse economic and financial factors, which are added such internal problems as a reduction of the construction sector, rising unemployment and recession. In such a situation is not enough simply to overcome the disastrous interweaving adverse global financial and economic circumstances, and then regroup. The Government intends to implement a set of bold structural reforms in the economy, to the output of the global crisis to ensure Ireland's most advantageous position in terms of growth in global economic activity. For the next phase of growth in the Irish economy must prepare now.
