Abstract

En el artículo tiene por objetivo analizar la productividad del sector agropecuario de México, Estados Unidos y Canadá, en el marco del TLCAN. Sector que a partir de la firma de este tratado comercial se ha consolidado como un elemento central de las relaciones económicas entre los países miembros. El cálculo de la Productividad Total de los Factores permitió apreciar que el sector agropecuario mexicano es más productivo que los de Estados Unidos y Canadá, ventaja que se sustenta exclusivamente en la productividad parcial del factor trabajo, por lo que se requieren inversiones que complementen el desempeño de este factor.
